Then we did a clothing drive. We had a great particpation from staff and patients bringing in new socks and underware along with slightly used coats and clothes – these went to Angel Wings which is a house for homeless children that can age from infant to early 20′s.

There are many families in our community that are less fortunate than we are and this is especially true during the holiday season.

Please join us at Hamilton Dental in making the holidays brighter for those families by giving the “Gift of Warmth.”

Our office is serving as a collection site for Angel’s Wings (a division of Anchor House) which is a program that helps families in Mercer County. 

Angel Wings is greatly in need of new underwear and socks.  They could also use hats, gloves, scarves and coats (coats can be slightly used but in good condition) ranging from newborn to 21 years of age for both boys and girls.

Please drop off your donations at our Klockner Road office and place them in our “Holiday Gift Box” that will be on display at our front desk area.

For your convenience, our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am to 8pm; Friday, 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday, 8 am to 1 pm.  We will be accepting donations through December 21, 2011.

Dr. Sheikh recently volunteered seven days in Athens, Greece to help serve on the special smiles team for

the Special Olympics. This was Dr. Sheikh’s second world games and was formally trained as a clinical director by founder Dr. Steve Pulman, DDS (full article).

When not treating athletes Dr. Sheikh was able to visit the Greek historic sites such as the Temple of Zing, Annapolis, and visited the Greek Islands Poros, Hygra and Aegina.

We at Hamilton Dental are very excited to be using social media to launch concurrently with our new website (coming soon!). We would like to become more accessible to our patients.
